This award is open to a business which can show how it involves employees in the company’s decision making, offer career pathways, promotes health and wellbeing amongst its staff and contributes to the local community.

Submissions will be measured against an organisations ability to meet the standards identified in the Basildon Good Employer Charter.

The charter will support the success of the local economy through using local supply chains, creating local job opportunities, ensuring employees are paid a fair wage and promoting best practice in equality and diversity, staff wellbeing and development and environmental sustainability.
